Weinfeld Education Group strives to help all students reach their potential. We focus on students who face the increased obstacles presented by their learning challenges or disabilities, and are in need of special education or other educational support services.
Our core values guide us in all of our work.
WEG provides services in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
What We Do
We listen to parents' concerns and answer their questions to find the best solutions for their child.
Observe your child in the classroom, review all educational records and speak with all involved professionals to form an expert opinion about the needed school plan.
We advocate for students in school meetings, help resolve disputes between parents and schools, and offer expert witness services.
Psychological, Psycho-educational, Neuropsychological, Speech/Language and Occupational Therapy Assessments are available to better understand the strengths and challenges of each child.
We train and consult with schools, school districts, parent groups and professional organizations.

WEG expanding to Los Angeles
Weinfeld Education Group is proud to announce that we are now providing advocacy services for families of special needs students in the greater Los Angeles area. Please visit our webpage or email us for more information about the group.
Rapid Response Assessment
We are excited to launch our Rapid Response Assessment Program. Clients will receive an assessment report within six weeks of their first appointment. The first appointment for assessments will take place within two weeks. This will be true for the following WEG assessments: psychoeducational, admissions, speech and language, occupational therapy, assistive technology and behavior. The only exception will be neuropsychologicals, where the first appointment will be within 4 weeks, instead of two. There will be a 10% extra charge for this rapid response service.
Special Needs Check-up
Are you questioning whether your child's educational needs are being met? Call (301) 681-6233 to schedule a one-hour consultation with a Weinfeld Education Group expert to address questions critical to your child's educational success. Our experts can discuss whether or not your child may need an IEP or 504 plan, may need changes in an existing plan, or may need a new assessment.
Weinfeld Education Group is proud to announce the launching of our new, 3 credit, graduate course, "Every Educator An Advocate." Base on our, "Special Needs Advocacy Resource Book," the course provides an overview of the principles of advocacy and the pertinent laws. WEG is offering a discount code worth $25, (Advocate25), for registrants, which will bring the cost down to $350. Graduate credit is available from cooperating universities for an additional charge. Register and read more about the course at this link, www.cecreditsonline.org.
